Medical Billing Agent (FULL-TIME ON-SITE)

We are seeking a Medical Biller to join our administrative team . This on-site position is crucial for managing patient billing information and ensuring accurate processing of medical claims. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have experience with medical billing software.
Job Responsibilities;
-Prepare and Submit Claims: Accurately prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
- Patient Communication: Communicate with patients regarding their outstanding balances and assist them in understanding their bills.
- Monitor Payments: Track payments, follow up on delinquent accounts, and establish payment arrangements with patients.
- Billing Software Management: Maintain and update billing software, ensuring all patient information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Claims Follow-Up: Investigate and appeal denied claims to maximize reimbursement for services provided.
- Documentation: Prepare invoices and document amounts due for medical procedures and services.
- Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Requirements;
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in billing software and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Organizational Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to multitask effectively.
