Job Summary:

The HR Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, maintaining payroll records, and providing analytical support to the payroll function. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with payroll policies and regulations, resolving payroll discrepancies, and improving payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing: • Collaborate to Prepare and process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. • Verify and input payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee information.
Payroll Reporting: • Generate and distribute payroll reports, including earnings statements, tax reports, and benefits deductions. • Prepare and file payroll tax returns, including federal, state, and local taxes.

Data Management: • Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate benefit deductions and employee data.

Issue Resolution: • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries related to payroll. • Investigate and resolve issues related to payroll processing, such as tax withholding, direct deposit errors, and benefit deductions.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.

• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing or a related role. • Experience with payroll software (e.g., Eikon) is preferred.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Eikon. (Mandatory)

• Strong understanding of payroll principles and regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
